Collect Colour / Collect Memories
An art making workshop to coincide with the exhibition of Hughie O’ Donoghue’s paintings that investigate history, memory and myth.
In the same way as Hughie’s paintings uses the past as a subject Kate was in the Artspace collecting colour memories to inform the painting activities that ran in Artspace.
Visitors were invited to come along to Artspace and join in this week long activity. Colour memories were collected e.g. of a tree in autumn colour where friends were met or a duvet where you could hide from the day. Kate looked for found colour memories that responded to the following titles.
